Lil Blak

Lil Blak was born in Gambia and moved to the UK at the age of 6. He has been living in Brighton on the south coast of England ever since, where he started rapping when he was 14 years old having his 1st performances in Slip jam B with his crew "Brotherhood".

Shortly afterwards the crew members moved in different musical directions and he started concentrating on his solo career at the very young age of just 15!

At first he was heavily influenced by the likes of Dr Dre, focusing mainly on gangster rap but has developed his own unique style over the years which can only be described as a mixture between RnB Slow Jams & double-time lyricism with influences from the UK Grime scene.

He has worked with a number of underground MC's & Producers, always trying to push the bar up when it comes to UK Hip Hop. He aims at creating new flavours and styles by bringing together all the elements of British Urban Music & American Hip Hop, thus propelling rap music to the next generation.
